The research activities of the "Identification & Control" group focus on both conventional model-based and data-driven methods and techniques. Additionally, the integration of physical model-based domain knowledge with data-driven approaches represents another key research focus. This serves as the foundation for applying identification, estimation, and control methods to various mechatronic systems in the fields of automotive, drive, and production technology. As a result, applications such as process monitoring and condition monitoring in production systems, learning control strategies in drive systems, or adaptive estimation methods in automotive applications are enabled.
