Tutorium: State and parameter estimation using the example of longitudinal vehicle dynamics

Short description

At imes, the tutorial "State and parameter estimation using the example of longitudinal vehicle dynamics" takes place every summer semester. In 5 terms, students are taught knowledge in the following areas using Matlab live scripts with practical exercises:

  • Identification of linear systems
  • Modeling
  • Global optimization
  • Parameter identification
  • Linear observers (Kalman filters)
  • Nonlinear Observers (Extended and Unscented Kalman Filters)
  • Online parameter estimation

Finally, students work on and present their own project in small groups, in which they have applied the methods they have learned.

More Information can be found in Stud.IP.
